Heiligendamm

Fully relaxed in the here and now

Heiligendamm was Germany's first coastal resort in 1793. Even then the highly fashionable spa resort proved to be a popular destination for an illustrious group of guests, and today the unique property with its luxurious grand hotel once again serves as a calling card for cultivated lifestyle and enjoyment.

The journey across country itself helps to set the mood for the "White Town by the Sea". Away from the major routes, gently rolling meadows, fields and beech forests create an atmosphere of rural tranquillity in the region around the Bay of Mecklenburg. Against the backdrop of this refreshing and natural landscape, far from the city crowds, it is no wonder that the daily routine soon fades out of sight. This relaxing effect continues on arrival in the seaside setting and takes on its own slow rhythm so that life is rooted in a very leisurely fashion in the "here and now".

Framed by the Baltic Sea and dense beech forests, the ensemble of six buildings shines forth majestically from a park-like area of some 31,000 square metres on this historical site.
